For those who have a sweet tooth, the
flan de coco is a great choice to end a delicious
meal, made with rum coconut flan,
pineapple, cherry cocktail and coconut
flakes. This dessert is great to share — but
many guests might not be willing to split
it after taking their first bite.
And with all these delicious selections
to choose from, it's only natural that the
restaurant has some equally tasty drinks
and cocktails, like the LIC Kick, prepared
with cruz de fuego mezcal, Azteca azul
reposado, giffard orgeat and fresh lemon
juice.
“Since I was the one focusing on the
bar, I wanted my bar to be exclusive,”
Tirado said. “We have high-end drinks
like Louis XIII Cognac, Don Q, Spanish
and French wine, champagne. We have a
good balance and it’s affordable.”
For Tirado, as 2 Dive 4 expands and
continues to grow in popularity in the
area, it’s all about bringing a great restaurant
to an area that he has called home
for many years.
“I think it’s all about good quality hospitality,”
Tirado said. “I just want to bring the best; I
don’t want to overcome anyone. I want other
restaurants to do what they’re doing and I
want to do what I’m doing.”
