Even the bathroom at DollFace was cute, with framed
photos of comedians like Lucille Ball and Kristen Wiig
lining the wall. I know that’s a weird place to begin, but it
just goes to show how well owner Stacey Vasilopoulos has
curated the business. DollFace is a luxury lash and brow
boutique, and along with lash extensions, they also offer
services like microblading, brow tinting (which they call
Abrow prints), and facials. nd the decor certainly exuded a
feminine vibe. In the salon lobby,
for example, a neon sign exclaimed
“Babe Cave.” An elaborate
gold chain chandelier hung
overhead, which Vasilopoulos
explained was the first thing she
bought for the space. There was a plush,
black couch with lipstick print pillows,
and nearly everything was in a shade of
black, red, white or gold.
Vasilopoulos is a born-and-raised Astorian.
