GLOBAL FIRST
RESPONDERS GOLF OUTING
GIVING BACK TO FAMILIES
OF HEROS
AIRPORT VOICE, JULY 2019 5
The 5th Annual Charity
Golf Outing sponsored by the
Global Foundation for First
Responders was held June
6th. The first of many charitable
airport golf events was
held on a beautiful day at the
Stonebridge Country Club.
The event was filled with
supporters and their foursomes
who enjoyed a =challenging
course and the good
food and bar. Radar, the
guide dog in training was on
hand from the Islanders to
give some canine love to the
participants. Clergy, fathers
and sons, close friends and
business associates helped
raise funds for the first responders
which was founded
in 2015 to support the families
of first responders who
lost their lives saving others
in the line of duty. These men
and women dedicated their
lives to helping others and ensuring
safety in our communities.
GFFFR honors these
individuals and would like to
give back to their families to
show our appreciation If you
were not able to attend and
wish to donate please go to
