In this episode of Power Women of Queens, Luchia
Dragosh meets Loretta Alkalay, an Aviation Attorney and
Adjunct professor at Vaughn College where she teaches
drone law.
Loretta Alkalay is an independent legal consultant to
aviation entities. She was an FAA attorney and Regional
Counsel for the FAA’s Eastern region for more than thirty
years. As such, she was responsible for prosecution of
enforcement cases involving violations of the Federal
Aviation Regulations, legal review, research and
consultation on airports and environmental issues and
litigation in the seven states comprising the Eastern
Region. When Loretta is not working, she can be spotted
flying her favorite drone.
