A concentrated exploration of how clay can be shaped to reflect individual visions. All the work began with the same basic gesture – digging into a bag of clay. Then their itineraries diverged immediately. They ran out along paths of individual inspirations from function to installation, to figuration, to abstraction. These 12 artists offer glimpses into 100+ individual creative itineraries, from beginners to professionals, that all began with a bag of clay. brickhouseny.com 10SQUARED SILENT AUCTION Over 100 pieces of incredible original works on 10” x 10” wood panels in all kinds of media will be auctioned off.
