Since 2007, Ms. Horowitz stewardship of Parker’s Home Care division has ensured thousands of adults have received individualized nursing, medical and rehabilitation services that allow them to maintain maximum independence and remain in the comfort of their homes. Ms. Horowitz maintains a collaborative relationship with area hospitals, certified home health agencies and community organizations, lends expertise in leadership of Parker’s Professional Advisory Committee and Quality Assurance and Improvement initiatives, and provides ongoing mentorship of health care providers, guiding the highest, most compassionate standard of care for patients. GINA Flexibility and adaptability are typical traits acquired by children born into military families and Gina is no exception. Born in 1975 in Millington, just outside of Memphis, Gina was raised early on throughout Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia the Washington, D.C., metro area before returning to New York, where most of the family was from originally. She continued her education, receiving her AAS in Criminal Justice. In 1998, Gina began her career with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey where she worked in a clerical position for the Resident Engineers office at JFK International Airport. She quickly became an Asst. Office Engineer working on a multitude of facility construction projects. In 2000, she moved into a Construction Administrator position with Construction Management in the Chief Engineers Office at 1 WTC. After surviving 9/11, Gina worked briefly in the private sector as a Construction Administrator for contracts with SCA, DDC and USPS. Her return to Port Authority at JFK in 2003 landed her as the Office Engineer for Tenant Construction. Gina’s responsibilities in this position included coordinating and overseeing the Aircraft Noise Abatement program with the local public and HAFR schools in Queens. As a result of her years of expertise, in 2012 she was steered away to JFK/IAT at Terminal 4 and undertook the role of Project Manager for their $70 million terminal concession renovation program. Gina married her high school sweetheart, Brian Battagliola, nearly 15 years ago and is mother to son Michael, 3, and Rosalina, 8. Her leadership qualities have fervently been availed at home as well with special attention to her children as she serves as an actively involved PTA member for the past four years with two years as a Board Council Delegate. Gina has also been a Girl Scout troop leader for three years and received the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2013. KUCHERA Kimberly Kuchera is the CEO and Founder of KJR Aviation, a New York City based private aircraft charter firm. Kimberly founded KJR in 2006 with her partner, Robert Nathan, with the goal of bringing superior service to the on-demand private aircraft charter market. She acquired Robert’s ownership stake in 2011 and is currently the firm’s sole equity holder. Kimberly and KJR strive to support the careers of young women in New York City. Despite being in an industry dominated by men, the vast majority of KJR’s employees are female. Prior to founding KJR, Kimberly held several roles in sales and marketing in the private aviation industry. In addition to KJR, Kim is involved with a number of charitable organizations, including serving as co-chair of the Alliance for Veteran’s Support and the Advisory Committee of the Q u e e n s M u s e u m .
