Silva is a freshman in the honors section who has proven to be a worthy recipient by excelling at academics and portraying strong leadership qualities. He accepted the award from his history teacher and Knight Mr. Sammarco ‘10. The Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council will be hosting a dinner to celebrate Bishop Ignatius Catanello. The night will be to celebrate the life of the bishop and to support the scholarship in his memory. The Third Annual Bishop Ignatius Catanello Memorial Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 12, at Immaculate Conception Center, located at 7200 Douglaston Pkwy. Tickets are $75 per person, which includes an open bar, raffl es and prizes, and a DJ. RSVP by March 7 to reserve your seat at the dinner.
