She began small, waiting tables in a Courtyard by Marriott’s breakfast, then worked her way up, learning how to run a successful hotel and business. Natalie began growing within the industry and made her way down to Queens, to open a brand-new, boutique property in Flushing. As of now, she has worked on seven pre-open teams, with six of those properties located in New York City—three of which were in Queens. Her expertise is in opening properties, creating marketing plans and budgets, but more importantly, building relationships with clients and the community. H s H SCOTT NADLER Senior Loan Officer GuardHill Financial Corp. Scott joined GuardHill in the fall of 2010. With a highly established and profi table Broker Division, Scott worked to become the head of Secondary Marketing to help build the Banking Division. With his ability to negotiate with lenders for the best rates along with his persistence in managing the banking pipeline, Scott helped increase the Banking Division’s volume from $5 million a month to $40 million a month in less than a year. In the fall of 2012, Scott made the leap into sales and started originating. His background in the secondary market gives him the ability to anticipate interest rate movement and capture the best rest rates for his clients. That knowledge coupled with his experience of working closely in operations helped him learn how to analyze a fi le and devise the best strategy to ensure an approval. Scott’s persistence and determination have propelled him to become one of the top loan offi cers at GuardHill Financial Corp, the number one mortgage company in the Tri-State area, in only two years. He genuinely cares about helping his clients get what they desire which is exemplifi ed through his quick responsiveness and tireless effort – two of the many reasons why clients rave about his services. H NATALIE SERSE H H H H H H Benton STEFAN MALLIET Second Vice President Branch Manager New York Community Bank Stefan Malliet joined New York Community bank in July of 2000 as a sales associate. Since then Stefan has worked his way up to become second vice president and branch manager. He has been serving as a branch manager for the last six years. He manages a staff with 13 team members. His branch is always at the top of his region in overall performance. Stefan recently won a Regional MVP Award for distinguished recognition of outstanding performance. His dedication to the bank is shown through his hard work outside of his day to day duties. He has volunteered to work on numerous banking conversions and projects, traveling to Ohio and Florida to assist. Stefan enjoys meeting new people and is always looking for ways to help out in the community. He has conducted several fi nancial literacy courses in Queens Libraries, local senior centers and public schools. On Oct. 17, 2014, Stefan was inducted into Farmingdale’s State College Athletic Hall of Fame. While attending Farmingdale, he won a Regional MVP Award. Not many people can say they won a Regional MVP award during their playing as well as professional careers.
