MATTONE Chief Operating Officer, Marquis Maintenance LLC Born in Nassau County and raised in Queens, Carl Joseph Mattone Jr. worked in construction growing up. From the age of 15, Carl worked for a construction manager under Titan Realty and Construction while attending St. Francis Preparatory High School, where he graduated in 2011 to follow in the family footsteps to St. Johns University. Upon completing his associate degree in business management in 2014, Carl Jr. opened Marquis Maintenance, focusing on parking lot line striping and property maintenance. Carl is continuing his education at New York Institute of Technology, where he will complete his bachelor’s degree in architectural sciences and construction. Carl holds lifesaving certifi cations from the American Red Cross, and he is a Nassau County Certifi ed Life Guard. Carl is active in community service, including the Naval Health & Wellness Expo, 2006 through 2010; volunteering as a swim coach at North Hills Country Club, summer 2009; volunteering as a lifeguard at Douglaston Yacht Club, summer 2009; and the Boy Scouts of America: Christopher Jarosch - Eagle Badge Project, 2009. Carl’s political activities include fundraising for Andrew Cuomo’s 2006 campaign for Attorney General and Jim Gennaro’s 2008 campaign for state Senate. The company headquarters are in Whitestone, N.Y., covering all fi ve boroughs and Nassau County.
