Calling All Veterans
BY FRED CHERNOW
Once again, this year, North
Shore Towers is hosting
a Salute to Veterans on
Friday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. in
the Towers on the Green Ballroom.
Veterans Day is November 11. As in
the past, the program will include
patriotic music and first-person remarks
by NST veterans of WW II,
Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan.
At the conclusion, refreshments will
be served.
If you would like to
offer some brief remarks
about your service or
relate some anecdote,
we would like to feature
you. Please drop a line to
me via the Concierge of
Building #1, or an email
or phone message with
your name and contact
information. We had a
full house attending last
year. Spouses of veterans
are also invited to speak.
God Bless America.
