Men’s Golf bids adieu to 2018 season

About 100 Men’s Golf Association
(TMGA) members
gathered in Towers on the
Green Wednesday night, September
26, for the annual closing dinner.
Chair Eugene Price opened the
affair, acknowledging the tremendous
job of TMGA President Stan
Yoel and his Board, and welcoming
newly-installed North Shore
Towers Country Club President
Stanley J. Goldsmith, who looked
forward to working with the members
on the continual upkeep and
improvement of the course. Price
also praised the night’s host, Buffy,
who did a beautiful job catering
the lavish affair, which featured
a cocktail hour with passed hors
d’oeuvres, jumbo shrimp cocktail,
green salad, main course of filet
mignon or salmon, and Venetian
table for dessert.

plaguing the area. The seemingly
endless wet weather didn’t dampen
the season, which was highlighted
by the inaugural Herb Greenberg
Charity Tournament, breaking
ground on a long-awaited practice
area, a spectacular Member/Guest
day, 2 Hole-in-ones, and a returning
champion regaining his crown.
