Fred Chernow
I have served our community
as a member of the Board since
2013, the last five months as
President. During that time, I
had the unique opportunity to
expand my understanding of the
complexities of our daily oper-ation
by working closely with
each Board Member and our
Management Team. Our success
as a Board and as a community
is truly a result of knowledgeable
professionals working towards
the common goal of making NST
the absolute best living experi-ence
it can be. I am proud to be
a part of such dedicated men
and women who personify that
success.
During my tenure as chair
of the Screening Committee,
several procedural modifica-tions
have resulted in attract-ing
more diverse and active
prospective buyers of available
apartments. In 2014, as chair of
Cultural Affairs, I brought the
successful 92nd St Y Programs
to NST. During the pandemic,
I have been hosting a series
of programs featuring popular
entertainers that is broadcast on
our in-house channel 995. Our
Salute to Veterans tribute, which
I lead each November, remains
an annual success.
I am committed to work
toward the betterment of our
community, and with your sup-port,
I can continue to do so.

I am seeking re-election to the
North Shore Towers Board of
Directors as I am proud of my
accomplishments and look for-ward
to serving NST residents.
As I continue dedicating my
life to civic engagement and serve
as a community leader involved
in local political campaigns, we
must continue to have a voice
for the future of our community.

MTA ensuring our express bus
remans at NST.
• As Secretary, VP Public Affairs,
Marketing and Media, I will
continue to introduce political
leaders to NST.
• Our Congre s s i o n a l
Representative and I distrib-uted
face masks to the NST
community during the Covid-19
Pandemic.
• Together our committee, staff
and designer renovated the
beautiful Beaumont lounge
to completion.
• Successfully promoted our
comprehensive marketing and
media plan.
• Worked with the Board of
Directors approving various
projects.
• Currently working as the
District Manager Community
Board 2Q.
• Worked for the Office of the
Mayor as the Queens Borough
Director CAU for both Mayor
Giuliani and Mayor Bloomberg.
• I serve on advisory boards
and understand how to navigate
government.
I look forward to continuing
positive contributions to improve
NST, making it a better place to
live. I am counting on your vote.
