DAVID A. ZOLONDEK
My wife Carol
and I have been
full-time residents
of North Shore
Towers for five
years. I am a
retired businessperson with a BA
in Business Administration and 35
years’ experience as president and
owner of an international textile
business involving sales, finance
and operations. I also have six
years’ experience in banking.
Previously, I was an active member
of the Jamaica Estates Association
focused on community planning.
We love living at North Shore
Towers, which has always been
a special and unique place.
Managing the Towers is a $45
million business that needs Board
members with business experience,
vision and a dedication to excellence
to make it an even better
place. I am running for the Board
because I believe I can make a
major contribution to improving
our homes and community.
My vision for North Shore Towers
includes:
• Working, together with other
coops, to reduce our real estate taxes
by ending the unfair method of
assessing coop apartments in NYC.
• Promoting management efficiencies
to lower our expenses and
reduce monthly maintenance bills
and assessments.
• Increasing transparency in the
Board decision-making process and
providing prompt and complete
information to residents about the
decisions that affect us all.
• Making better use of the experience
and talents of our residents,
especially committee members, to
provide meaningful input to the
Board.
• Making the Towers a more “resident
friendly” environment.
I ask for your votes and support
so that together we can put a new
face on North Shore Towers.

GERALD J. WILKOFF
JERRY was born
in Brooklyn, N.Y,
and graduated
f rom James
Madison High
School. Jerry then
went to New York University Stern
School for Business. Jerry served
with the U.S. Army in Korea.
On returning home Jerry started
his own insurance agency, Wilkoff
Associates, Inc. and settled in Kew
Gardens. While running his Agency
he earned the Chartered Property
and Casualty Underwriters and
Chartered Life Underwriters designations
and was elected Young
Agent of the Year by the New York
State Insurance Agents Association.
Jerry’s expertise got him invited to
forty-three states to lecture.
Seeking new horizons, Jerry
started a Surety Bond Agency in
1996 which he ran until retiring.
During this period the Agency was
one of the largest of it’s kind in New
York State and gained him national
recognition. His expertise in dealing
with finance and contractors will
be an asset to be added to the NST
Board.
He serves on the Board of The
Narrows, Southampton, formerly
a Board Member at Lattingtown
Ponds, Glen Cove, and Temple Beth
Am, Merrick.
Having a wide range of experience
in dealing with finances and
planning on transparency for the
Board, will be Jerry’s objectives as
a new Board member.
WARREN GLENN My
name is Warren
Glenn. I am
seeking reelection
to the Board of
Directors of North
Shore Towers.
My year spent as a member of the
board has been rewarding. I have
enjoyed working with the board and
for the people of NST. As chairman
of House and Grounds, Marketing
and Entrance Committees my duties
have been diversified. Among my
accomplishments are: paper shredding
events, new lobby holiday displays,
BuildingLink communication
system, movie theater agenda and
new lobby foliage.
My Marketing Committee is
working to revitalize the concept
of North Shore Towers as a luxury,
multigenerational, vibrant community
in a country club setting.
My Entrance Committee is gathering
bids, estimates and ideas to
improve the entrance including
signage, gate house and plantings.
The current entrance is dark, dated
and bricks are crumbling. The signage
is small and dark therefore not
visible at night. I will modernize and
brighten the entrance and display
lit signage that is easily visible. We
must compete with other high end
properties.
I would consider it an honor to
continue to represent the Board
of Directors. I wish to finish what
I have started. With your vote
and support I will succeed to
enhance NST.
Respectfully,
Warren Glenn
