16 North Shore Towers Courier n March 2013 Mardi Gras Linda Ipamena and the Dixiecats brought in swing music and Mardi Gras fun to the North Shore Towers on Wednesday, February 6. The Dixiecats, drawn from the best Dixieland played in the Metropolitan area, play their swinging tunes from a trumpet, clarinet and trombone while Ipamena brings her big musical background to the group. She has performed in major clubs throughout New York City, Washington D.C., Delaware, North Caroline, Florida and even Norway.
