Club of Manhasset-Port Washington;
Lisa Lubrano of the Girl Scouts

the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce;
Alyssa Noelle Pitaluga, an
educator with the St. Mary’s School
of Manhasset; Nadine Grindfell of
the North Shore Animal League of

“We wouldn’t be here without
all of you,” Vanessa LeFebvre,
president of Lord & Taylor, told the
crowd. “The reality is the store is
only as good as its community.”

LORD & TAYLOR GETS A
FACELIFT
After a three-year renovation,
Lord & Taylor in Manhasset will be
celebrating its grand reopening on
Dec. 7 offering an array of services
that will make the shopping experience
more personal.
Vanessa LeFebvre, president of
Lord & Taylor, shared her enthusiasm
about some of these exciting
new developments taking place and
her vision for the retailer.
“We are really focused on communicating
with our communities
and with our customer to make sure
they understand some of the of the
things we offer,” Lefebvre says. “Personal
shopping is a great example of
something we offer. I think people
think it is something you have to pay
money for. It is a service we provide
on your budget.”
Some of these services include
assistance in finding a special occasion
dress. finding the right bra size,
or the right foundation.
The Manhasset location is one of
four Lord & Taylor stores on Long
Island. Their other locations are in
Garden City, Bay Shore, and at the Walt
Whitman Mall in Huntington. Each is
distinctive in the clients they serve.
With the holiday shopping season
in full swing, Lefebvre invites everyone
to stop in.
“We are excited to be open for the
holidays," she says, "You can shop
with confidence.”
