Team Schein thanks the Long Island Press
for its outstanding contributions to informing and
inspiring Long Islanders while sparking important
conversations and positive change through
its award-winning news coverage.
In 1978, Henry Schein, Inc. relocated to Long Island
from Queens when we opened a facility in
Port Washington. Sixteen years later, we moved our
global headquarters to our current location in Melville.
Giving back to society is a core value at Henry Schein,
enshrined in our philosophy of enlightened self-interest
and shared by approximately 21,000 Team Schein
Members around the world.
For 24 years, we have hosted our
“Back to School” program, working with local
social service organizations to give Long Island kids
books, backpacks, and school supplies to start the
school year strong. And for 21 years, we have hosted
“Holiday Cheer,” another program organized
with social service organizations that provides
Long Island kids with gifts, food, and fun to ensure
families enjoy a festive holiday season.
This positive impact is a testament to the dedication
and excellence of Team Schein on Long Island.
While a lot has changed in the 27 years
since we moved to Melville, what hasn’t changed
is our commitment to “the Island.”
