Stelios E. Karatzias
The Uniondale-based
law firm of Sahn Ward
PLLC hired Karatzias
has joined the firm
as an associate. He
will concentrate his
practice in the areas of zoning and land
use planning, real estate law and transactions,
municipal law, and corporate law.
He previously served as an associate attorney
at several prominent Long Island
law firms.
Anna Szczepanek
Penta Medical Recycling,
a nonprofit
organization that
repurposes and redistributes
gently worn
and slightly outdated
prostheses from the U.S. to international
amputees in need, hired Szczepanek as
deputy director. She will secure national
and global partnerships, lead grant and
proposal writing, spearhead fundraising
activities, and provide support to further
Penta’s external affairs, resource development
and operations.

professional lacrosse
team, have hired
Drake as the team’s
video coordinator. His
background includes playing the game
and experience breaking down game film
as an assistant coach with Georgian Court
University.

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s
International Realty,
one of the nation’s
leading realtors,
recently promoted
Robinson-Cirelli to senior executive of
marketing operations. She most recently
has led the marketing program for its
luxury Masterpiece Collection.
Tyshawn Scarlett
The Carle Place School
District hired Scarlett
as its new district director
of health, physical
education, family
and consumer science,
and athletics. He previously worked at
The Academy Charter Schools and Nassau
Community College, where is still an
adjunct professor in physical education.
Danielle Amato
The Harborfields Central
School District has
named Amato the new
K-12 guidance administrator
and oldfield middle
school assistant principal. She comes
to Harborfields after spending 22 years
in the Sewanhaka Central High School
District as the guidance chairperson at
H. Frank Carey High School.
Dominick Palma
The Merrick School
District superintendent
was appointed
to serve as the president
elect of the Nassau
County Council of
School Superintendents for the 2021-22
school year. In that role, he will coordinate
study groups for aspiring central
office administrators throughout Nassau
County.
