SECOND FARMS GROUNDBREAKING
Councilman Rafael Salamanca recently attended a groundbreaking ceremony of Second Farms, a once underutilized parking facility which is a step closer to welcoming 319-units of 100%
affordable housing to the Bronx. Salamanca allocated $850,000 in capital funding to make this project a reality.
The Catholic Charities of New York presented a hefty ceremonial check for Second Farms Affordable Housing.

MOVING UP CEREMONIES FOR STUDENTS
Kingsbridge Heights Community Center recently held its Moving Up ceremonies to celebrate
our students in our Early Headstart and Head start program! During this year’s ceremonies,
each class sang songs, danced and gave lots of hugs to family members and friends.

ORCHARD BEACH OUTREACH EVENT
OATH and Councilman Mark Gjonaj brough information about how to deal with City-issued
summonses to Bronxites by speaking with people and distributing information to visitors at
Orchard Beach on Wednesday, July 10.
