Sounds & Sirens hosted the second edition of its Acoustics Under the Stars concert series
on Saturday, July 6 at McDermott’s Pub in the Neck. Co-hosted by DJ Mike and Dubby, the
evening’s live entertainment included performances by Drew Torres; Autumn Revival; Annie
Nirschel; Charlie Rauh; Anna Oh and Samuel Conception, Jr. among many others.

BP DIAZ ATTENDS CAMP JUNIOR OPENING
On Wednesday, July 10, Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. participated in the offi cial ribboncutting
ceremony for ‘Camp Junior,’ a summer camp for youth from targeted Bronx neighborhoods.
The revitalized camp is named for 15-year-old Lesandro ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz,
who was killed by Bronx gang members in 2018 in a case of mistaken identity. Diaz is providing
a $1 million capital budget allocation to Camp Junior in his FY2020 budget.

KING VISITS HARVEST HOME FARMER’S MARKET
Councilman Andy King promoted the local Harvest Home Farmer’s Market as a guest cook
on Wednesday, July 10 at Asch Loop and Aldrich Avenue.
