Escape2NY & Bronx Brewery
announce summer collaboration

A Bronx cultural, musical
expose is coming and it’s going
to be absolutely electric.
Escape2NY and the Bronx
Brewery are partnering up
to create ‘Underground Live,’
a concert series that will be
bumping in both the Bronx
and Brooklyn this summer.
The fi rst show in the lineup
featured a mega-lineup of local
hip-hop and fellow musicians
at 988 Decatur Street in
Brooklyn on Saturday, July
13.
“Escape2NY is a group that
holds passion for talent. Surrounded
by the undiscovered
they want to create a home
for those who deserve to be
heard,” said Escape2NY creator
Jalen Andux.
That noted passion has
been refl ected in the event organizer’s
previous shows, like
its springtime concert series
on Saturday, May 25.
“Joining forces is key to
making art happen everywhere
and for all,” Andux said.

After the ‘live launch,’ the
brewery will be hosting an art
expo that’s connected to ‘Underground
Live’ on Saturday,
August 24 in addition to more
upcoming galleries, expos and
concerts throughout the summer
months.
“From musicians to visual
artists, Escape2NY provides a
platform for every talent to be
seen,” the Throggs Neck resident
said.
