TRIBORO CENTER NURSES PARTICIPATE IN
AUDACIA SIMULATION TRAINING
Nurses at Triboro Center recently participated in an Audacia Simulation training, where the
nurses enhanced critical skills for IV therapy, specifi cally noticing the signs of residents
with dementia.

AL POST 1456 HOSTS ‘PASTA BOLOGNESE NIGHT’
On Saturday, February 22, the Theodore Korony American Legion Post 1456 hosted a Pasta
Bolognese Night in support of the Stop Soldier Suicide program, which is the fi rst national,
veteran founded 501(c)3 non-profi t focused on military suicide prevention. The goal of the
fundraiser was to raise enough money to sponsor one soldier in the program for two years
of personal case management. With the hard work of event chairwoman Rosetta Grasso and
her event committee members Sandy Champlin, Janet Forbes, Marykay Champlin and Krisi
Forbes, as well as the support of all who attended, the Auxiliary was able to send a donation
to the program to sponsor four soldiers for two years of personal case management.
