
47TH PRECINCT HOLDS ‘BUILD THE BLOCK’ MEETING
On Thursday, February 27, the 47th Precinct held its ‘Build The Block’ Neighborhood Policing
and Safety Meeting at Immaculate Conception Church, located at 754 E. Gun Hill Road. At
the meeting, attendees and offi cers discussed public safety challenges, issues and victories
in the neighborhood. The meeting was sponsored by 47th Precinct police offi cers John
McLoughlin and Robert Candela as well as Councilman Andy King.

The Fresh Air Fund’s Camp Junior visited the new BronxNet studio at the Hub on Saturday, February 29, where they learned about lighting, camera equipment, interviewing skills and more,
leaving BronxNet’s Third Avenue space with new skills and a possible new career desire.
