Varisco and Kalea met through working
at The Cliffs, where Varisco is a head coach
and Kalea was the creative director for about
five years. Varisco has been climbing for 20
years and did competitive climbing for 15
years. Kalea has been a climber for 10 years
and also started the group and community
Lady Cliff Crushers (now Lady+ Crushers) for
women and gender non-conforming climbers.
Krauss is a six-year climber and found
her love for the sport when she was a touring
musician on the West Coast, where other
musicians took her climbing. She is also a
senior guide for Discover Outdoors and a
Wilderness First Responder.
