urn in your winter blacks for
brighter hues, Astorians, because
spring has arrived.
Some fashionistas I spotted on
the streets of western Queens
were ready to take the plunge and try out
head-to-toe color blocking, pairing a blue
coat with emerald green pants. Others
stuck with color on top. Not ready to pack
up your neutrals for the season? Try a fun
shoe, like a pair of cheetah patterned flats
I spotted! No matter how much color locals
were incorporating into their outfits,
I noticed lots of textured bags and statement
sunnies. Take a peek at some of the
looks your neighbors rocked this month.
Valerie, a stage manager
visiting the neighborhood,
described her style as
“comfy but girly.” She
paired a floral-print,
ruffled, green dress with
a two-toned berry bag
and white Keds. She
topped off her look with
purple marble-patterned
sunglasses, a velvety,
midnight blue scrunchie
and a rose gold charm
bracelet and watch.
