Astoria resident Molly, who works in marketing,
was walking back home from a holiday lunch
with family. She describes her style as “older with
a modern twist.” Her tall riding boots combined
with tan coat and fuzzy ear warmers created a
perfect dressy but laid-back Sunday combo.
COZY VIBES

he temperature is dropping and we experienced our first
snow, but that by no means slows down the folks of western
Queens. I was impressed to notice all of the fashionable ways
Astorians kept themselves cozy while braving the chill and
wind outdoors. Puffer jackets, beanies, ear warmers, laceup
boots, embellished wraparound scarves, oversized coats
and cute handbags added to the eye-catching looks that we
are highlighting for you this month. These ensembles remind us that
keeping warm is always a great fashion choice!
Astoria resident Michael (@michaelfrom33139)
told me that when it comes to
fashion, he “tries it all.” I bumped into him
at the Chicken Shack and caught sight of his
all-black oversized velvet coat, green scarf
and dark shades, and I just had to get to
know him.

afternoon with her mom.
I loved how she balanced
her combat boots with
a tribal print scarf and
classy cross-body bag.
