their 78 years of service to
the community with its 46th
Annual Charity Ball. This
year’s honoree was Loretta
Bove, American Airlines
LGA Managing Director.

Team, community leader
and incoming President
George Dixon and Kiwanis
board member Bill Huisman
officiated the evening’s
gala along with kind words
from LGA’s Lysa Scully and
Sheltair’s Zendrea Spence.
Honoree Loretta Bove
was surrounded by colleagues
and accepted her
award of recognition with
special thanks to her team
and American Airlines for
the ability to do what she
loves and to help make a difference.
Many Port Authority,
Vaughn College, Kiwanis,
JFK Rotary members and
friends turned out to support
the mission of the Kiwanis
which is to provide
mentorship, and opportunities
for youth.

The Bethpage Air Show was held on an amazing beautiful
Memorial Day weekend along Jones Beach. Crystal clear skies
and a record crowd viewed the amazing show of the
Thunderbird Jets F-16s. This years pilots included: Lt. Col. John
Caldwell Commander/Leader, Maj. Will Graeff Left Wing, Capt.
Michael Brewer Right Wing, Maj. Whit Collins Slot, Maj. Matt
Kimmel Lead Solo, Capt. Michelle Curran Opposing Solo.
