Lifts off at new TWA Hotel
The JFK Airport Chamber
of Commerce held its
May Luncheon as the newly
opened TWA Hotel at JFK
Airport.
Befitting the recent opening
of an aviation based hotel,
the Chamber welcomed David
Neeleman, JetBlue founder,
as the guest speaker. The
huge event space was filled
with over 500 avid aviation
professionals on hand to hear
the visionary aviation genius
talk about his Azul, TAP and
soon to be Moxie airlines.
It was also the opportunity
to present the Chamber’s annual
scholarship to a derserving
child of an airport employee,
Alexis Groark whois
attending MIT.
The Chamber wanted to
be one of the first events to
beheld in the new hotel to
show support for the first
part of the airport redevelopment
and to treat the
guests to a personalized tour
of the Flight Center after the
luncheon.
