Huntley Lawrence, COO,
Aviation Director PANYNJ
Vaughn College Commencement
speaker focused a positive
outlook, collective good, improving
one’s outlook, improving
skills and compassion.
He says, to be successful we
really need to remove hate from
our hearts and minds.
Hate manifests itself into gossip, bias and discrimination.
Hate is cancerous. When we hate it poisons
our outlook on everything. We focus on the faults of
others.
Create a stronger us and a stronger we. Always
work on improving your talent.
Practice self-compassion and feed your body the
best way possible.
Lawrence asks if you are part of a solution or part
of a problem? This is a Heavy question for heavy
times he stated.
Focus on being proactive, and ready for what
lies ahead by preparing and having a plan and a
Plan B. Be focused but open to opportunities.
Georgia Tech Commencement by Ed Bastian, CEO
Delta
Delta Air Lines CEO said said that this past year
awakened old learning about ourselves. We learned
that we need to redefine the future of wellness and resilience.
We learned the power and control we think we
have I this life can be lost asunder overnight. The only
true power we had was in the unity taking on a common
enemy. If we could only muster enough courage
to apply unity to overcome our differences in more
walks of life what a better world we would all share.
We have learned that achievement we are most
most proud of is service to others-assisting others to
realize their opportunities and potential. In this year
of paradox, full of sacrifice and achievement, this lesson
of service may be the ultimate and the most important
lesson of all.
