KENNEDY INTERNATIONAL AND LAGUARDIA AIRPORTS The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey will be hosting a public information workshop in October 2015 to provide information regarding the Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 150 (14 CFR Part 150) Airport Noise Compatibility Planning Studies for John F. Kennedy International (JFK) and LaGuardia (LGA) Airports. The workshop will include guided displays that will present information regarding the 14 CFR Part 150 Study process, the project schedule, noise metrics, and methods used to quantify aircraft noise exposure. A second round of public information workshops will be conducted in the Spring of 2016 to provide information regarding the primary products of the 14 CFR Part 150 Study – the 2016 and 2021 Noise Exposure Maps. The workshop will be held in an “open house” format from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the date listed below. No formal presentation will be given in order to provide the public with the maximum opportunity for one-on- one interaction and sharing of information and concerns. You may attend the workshop at any time during the two-hour open house.
