The LIC Flea is bringing its fantastic beer vendors and delicious food vendors to the Shops at Atlas Park for a pop-up Oktoberfest event this Saturday, Oct. 17. To celebrate Oktoberfest, seasonal beers will be offered from six of the local Queens breweries found at the All Queens Beer Garden, including Big Alice Brewing; Ridgewood’s own Finback Brewery; and Ridgewood’s newest brewery, Queens Brewery. Some of the LIC Flea’s most popular food and dessert vendors will provide a sample of the delicious treats the LIC Flea has to offer. Some of the vendors in attendance will be When Pigz Fly, HBH Gourmet Sandwiches, Seoul Pancake, Sam’s Fried Ice Cream and Mahalo Bakery. Video released of burglar who struck two Glendale apartments BY RO BER T POZARYCKI [email protected] @robbpoz The NYPD released video Saturday of a burglar wanted for breaking into two apartments in Glendale back in August. According to authorities, the break-ins occurred during daytime hours on Aug. 26 at a building on 74th Avenue and 64th Place. The suspect — a man with a dark complexion wearing a red and black T-shirt and carrying a plastic bag — entered two apartments and removed jewelry before fleeing the scene. The incidents were later reported to the 104th Precinct. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
