Something great is going on every
weekend this October at LIC Flea & Food,

Th e fall season launches on Saturday
and Sunday, Oct. 6-7. You’ll fi nd one-ofa
kind vendors selling vintage and artisanal
goods along with great beverages at
the Beer & Wine Garden, and an array of
amazing food vendors.
Crowd favorites such as San Antonio’s
Wood Fired Gourmet Pizzas and Four
Th e Hard Way’s curried goat and rice and
peas will be back at the market.
When you’re ready to shop, head on
over to N&S Apparel for socially conscious
cool Tees and Totes and to
Almanac Organics for socially conscious
skincare products. Th ey believe that all
businesses should operate with transparency,
be mindful of their social impact,
and be diligent environmental stewards.
For hand-made jewelry and vintage
goods, Tracey Renee Designs has tons
of great items to choose from. Silver

can layer, lovely bracelets, earrings and

Also, make plans to visit the LIC Flea on
Oct. 13-14 for the third-annual Queens
Beer Festival, where you can grab a taste
from every Queens-based brewery along
with a curated selection of brews from
Brooklyn, Th e Bronx, Long Island and
Staten Island. Th ere will be more than 20
breweries represented, and over 50 beers
to taste.

Th e Fall Festival takes place on Oct.
21-22. Th e Pumpkin Patch makes its
debut this weekend and kids can grab
a free pumpkin courtesy of the Flea,
while supplies last. You can jump into the
patch, take photos and grab your favorite
pumpkin to decorate.
LIC Flea & Food is open on Saturdays
and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
