Cloudy skies couldn’t dampen spirits
during the Bayside Village Business
Improvement District’s “Sunday
Stroll” along Bell Boulevard in
Bayside on Sept. 23. The stretch of
Bell Boulevard between 38th and
41st Avenues was closed to traffi c
but open to thousands of residents
young and old who enjoyed an afternoon
of games, music, entertainment
and free food from the street’s
many restaurants. As note, the family
friendly event aims to promote
businesses along the strip while also
bringing residents together.
