your creation to life!
From 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.,
Alacia Stubbs will be holding
a three-session workshop
that teaches you how
to sculpt with with air-drying
clay! Learn how to varnish
and decorate with acrylic
paint. Registration is limited.

4 Do you like to dance?
Come enjoy traditional
brass band music from Lima,
Peru, at a dance party! There
will be a cocktail reception
at 6 p.m., dance lessons at
7 p.m., and the party officially
starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are
$16/$10 for members and
students and free for teens.
Tickets include the reception
as well as the concert.
This event will be at Flushing
Town Hall, 137-35 Northern
Blvd.
Does your child feel stressed and need to relax? Take them to the Queens Library! From 1 to 2 p.m., come to the
Crayon Club, where students from pre-K to fifth grade can come after school for some fun and relaxing coloring!

Association Park Fair! The
fair includes food, games,

p.m. in Forest Park at the
Buddy Monument, Myrtle
Avenue and Park Lane
South. Admission is free.

Come to a New Music
Horizons Concert featuring
the music of Yui Kitamura
and Mark Wade! These composers
are known for their
unique classical and jazz
styles. Tickets are $10 for the
public, free for Flushing Town
Hall members and students.

with some Vinyasa
Yoga! From 9:30 to 10:30
a.m., Jennifer Batson will
teach participants to flow
through a series of connected
yoga poses with an awareness

Capoeira? Then

Camaleao, a certified instructor
from Capoeira Nago
Queens, will introduce participants
to the basic fundamentals
of the Brazilian martial
art of Capoeira! This sixpart
series will offer guidance
with balance, flexibility
and agility, while also providing
a brief history of Capoeira
traditions. This class is free
and is located at Socrates

Blvd., Astoria.
