According to police, at 9:53 a.m. on
March 27, a 17-year-old girl was walking
in the vicinity of 123rd Street and 89th

Th e victim did not have the money,

favors as an alternative. PIX 11 reported

wasn’t right, then secretly called her
brother and spoke in a way that indicated
that she was in trouble.
Seecharan eventually told the victim to
get out of the car and drove away. Th e

was then reported to the 102nd Precinct.
PIX 11 originally reported that police
were able to track Seecharan’s car back
to an auto body shop where Seecharan
works through surveillance video.
Seecharan was arrested on the aft ernoon
of March 27 and was charged with
impersonating a police offi cer, grand larceny,
harassment and unlawful imprisonment.
