The Flyers’ senior boys Nicholas Catapano, Owen Kelly, John Boger and Joseph Browne were the fi rst team to take second place in their cross country championship run. Junior boys Kacper Niepokoj, Ricky Hubert, Sean Walsh, Victor Ostling and Daniel Marmolejos also received silver medals for their championship run. Novice boys Unai Hiigins, Stephen Honan, Gavin Walsh, Frank Santoro, Thomas Fischer, Finn Healing, Jaco Jamin and Anthony Pedicini took second place as well. The Flyers’ last second place winners were novice girls, Aileen Mitarotonda, Olaia Higgins, Aiobhe Gallagher, Madeline Maureri , Joyce Lukose and Isabella Mulligan. Both bantam teams were able to bring home the bronze for the Flyers. The boys were Andrew Kelly, Jack Larkin, Joshua Jazmin and Kevin Isca, while the girls team consisted of Alexis Cleverly, Athalia Mulligan and Amber Marmolejos, as well as junior girl Emily Browne. The team’s fi nal recipients of ribbons were the peewees Emily Pedicini, Sadie Donahue, Ciara Reilly, Savannah Conroy, Olivia Santoro, Jack Clark, Dylan Isca, Ethan Joseph, Sean Johnson, William Radu, Justin Felicano, and James Gordon. The grass fi eld was a choppy mess and it took BWG halfway through the game to fi nd their possession style. The 2007s won both games; the 2006 teams won one and lost the second game, while the 2005s won the only game they played.
