Charity golf tournament returns for
second year to benefi t autism awareness
The Golfi ng 4 Autism Tournament
is back for the second straight
year in 2018, hosted by Glendale
based non-profi t Play4Autsim.
This year’s tournament will be held
at Kissena Park Golf Course in Fresh
Meadows on Saturday, Aug. 11. Registration
and complimentary breakfast
begins at 9 a.m. and play begins at 10 a.m.
During the tournament there will
be a $20,000 hole-in-one contest, a
longest drive contest, lunch at the
turn sponsored by Grill 66, a $5,000
putting contest and a “Million Dollar
Shootout.” Trophy presentations, dinner
and raffl es will take place during
the reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Registration costs $125 for an individual
player and $500 for a group
of four and includes meals, greens
fees with carts, registration into all
contests, a gift bag and more.
