Cops are looking for a man who
robbed a Woodhaven deli at gunpoint
and took off with just a few dollars.
According to police, at 5:25 a.m. on
Jan. 15, an unknown man entered Nogor
Deli, located at 77-15 Jamaica Ave.,

was working. The suspect displayed a
handgun and a black bag and demanded
money from the victim.
The victim complied and handed
over less than $40. The suspect fl ed
on foot on Jamaica Avenue. No injuries
were reported.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic
male, standing 5 feet, 6 inches
tall and weighing 150 pounds.

MAN TAKES FATAL FALL
WHILE FIXING WINDOW
A 26-year-old man died falling from
the sixth-fl oor window of a Rego Park
building on Tuesday aft ernoon, law
enforcement sources said.
According to police, at 2:55 p.m. on
Jan. 23, offi cers from the 112th Precinct
responded to a 911 call regarding an
aided person at 62-98 Saunders St. Upon
their arrival, they found 26-yearold
John Davie of Kew Gardens Hills
lying on the ground unconscious and
unresponsive with severe trauma to
the head and body.
A preliminary investigation found
that Davie was fi xing the sixth-fl oor
window when he took the tragic fall.
EMS responded to the location and
pronounced Davie dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine
the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
