President JLO Consultant Jose L. Orengo is President and Founder of JLO Consultant Inc., an all inclusive government relations, fundraising and Hispanic communications firm. With over 20 years in public service, Orengo is an expert in fundraising, all facets of lobbying in Washington, Albany and New York City, media communication and crisis management. Orengo also specializes in education issues, strategic planning, executive training, international collegiate collaborations and grassroots campaigning. Orengo was the Executive Director of Government Relations and Special Counsel to the President at LaGuardia Community College for the past 10 years. Orengo was also the chief lobbyist for the college and was responsible for securing over $100 million in allocations for capital projects, veterans, small business development and adult and continuing education programs. He has developed and maintained a strong relationship with all levels of government including the New York Congressional delegation, the New York State Legislature and the New York City Council. Orengo was the project director for LaGuardia in its collaboration with the Universidad Central of Santiago, Chile, to establish the first community college in South America. Other collaborations were undertaken with Brazil, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador. Prior to joining LaGuardia in 2002, Orengo was the Deputy Borough President of Manhattan and served as a legislative attorney for the Health and Youth committees in the New York City Council. Born in Puerto Rico and reared in the South Bronx, Orengo, grew up in public housing and is very proud of his public education having been a product of the national Head Start program, educated in New York City public schools from K-12 and the City University of New York, earning a bachelors degree at Queens College and a law degree at the CUNY Law School. He is a licensed attorney in New York, the United States Supreme Court and the federal circuit. Larry Oskowsky Retail Market Manager/VP TD Bank Larry S. Oskowsky is currently the Retail Market Manager and Vice President at TD Bank in Queens. He is responsible for the overall delivery and growth of 17 TD Bank branches throughout Queens and its unique retail model in NYC. He began his career in banking 25 years ago where he served in several banking/leadership roles throughout Queens. Prior to entering the banking industry, Oskowsky joined the United States Marine Corps, where he developed a passion to serve his country and community. He holds a masters in business administration in management, a bachelors degree in finance and an associate’s degree in banking and real estate. His philanthropic endeavors include serving on the board of several non-profits and memberships of organizations that focus on the environment, cancer research and veterans. Oskowsky has been married 21 years and has three children. Mark Johnson Chief Executive Officer Qside Federal Credit Union Mark Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer at Qside Federal Credit Union, based in Queens Village. Having served in this capacity for over 14 years, Johnson oversees the strategic direction of the $50 million, full-service financial institution. With over 28 years of experience in the credit union industry, Johnson previously served as Chief Financial Officer at XCEL Federal Credit Union in New York for 11 years. Jophnson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Dakota and completed the CEO’s Institute at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Credit Union Executive Society, participates in the National Credit Union Association and the Credit Union Association of New York and supports numerous philanthropic and nonprofit organizations, ranging from World Vision, The Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity and Club for Growth. Additionally, under Johnson’s leadership, the credit union has supported a range of causes, including an annual scholarship program, Queens Centers for Progress, Bayside Little League, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church and the Queens Oratorio Society. Johnson has proudly called Queens his home for over 31 years and has fulfilled multiple roles at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bayside, including assistant treasurer, trustee and elder. s
