Qside Federal Credit Union Where Money Makes a Better Living When it first opened its doors in 1940, Qside Federal Credit Union, then known as Waterside Federal Credit Union, had the goal of “people helping people” by providing financial resources that benefited the community and its members. Today, over 70 years later and with a new home base in Queens Village, Qside has the same philosophy and a strong capital base to support its continued growth. Qside Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution with over $50 million in assets and more than 9,000 members. In 2003, when Qside first expanded its market to include the Queens community, the areas served included Flushing, East Elmhurst, Corona and Whitestone.
