Police reported on May 23 that a 48-year-old man from Long Island City had his personal identity stolen on Tuesday, March 29, at around 6:30 p.m. A thief opened up a Zales store card and made multiple purchases. The first incident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 16, when the individual entered a Zales diamond store in Garden City, Long Island, and charged $5,724. The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, khaki pants and a green baseball hat. The second grand larceny took place on Thursday, Feb. 25, as the crook visited the Zales store in Brooklyn and made purchases totaling $2,192. The individual was seen wearing a black coat and a hat. A 61-year-old man was alerted by his alarm company that two individuals entered his residence through the rear located near 157th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway at 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18. The individuals ransacked the residence and fled through the rear door. Robbers pound man’s face for phone Police are looking for two suspects who repeatedly punched a senior citizen in the face and stripped the victim of his cellphone in Flushing earlier this week. A 63-year-old male victim was attacked by two male suspects at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, near a parking lot located at 158-14 Northern Blvd.. According to police, the suspects engaged in conversation with the victim, then proceeded to punch him in the face several times and stole his cellphone from his pocket. The robbers escaped northbound near 159th Street toward Northern Boulevard, speeding off in a darkcolored vehicle. The victim was transferred to Flushing Hospital and is in stable condition. Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic male last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black hooded sweater, green pants and black sneakers. His partner was described as a Hispanic male last seen wearing a dark-colored waist jacket, gray sweat pants, black sneakers and a black baseball hat. Basement Waterproofing Brickwork Exposed “Aggregate Concrete” Pavers • Masonry 110th Precinct Corona, Elmhurst Elmhurst woman choked and robbed by home invader Police are looking for a man who entered an apartment in Elmhurst and stole cash from the tenant after choking her. The suspect entered a residential building between Elmhurst and Britton avenues on May 16 at about 3:58 p.m. He then walked into an unlocked apartment to find a 25-yearold woman inside, officials said. The suspect allegedly placed his hands around her neck and mouth and stole an undetermined amount of money before fleeing out the front door. Police describe the suspect as a 32-year-old Asian male, standing about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a gray shirt.
