No prior experience necessary. FRIDAY, APRIL 15 This Friday, artist Hector Canonge invites you to his bi-monthly performance art platform LIVEART. US, a showcase entirely for live action art. This month’s segment focuses on corporeal boundaries. And will feature artists such as Lital Dotan, Joseph Ravens and Kuldeep Singh. The showcase will last from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is free with general museum admission. The Queens Museum can be found in the New York City Building of Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Corona. Santhigram Wellness invites you to join them from 3 to 6 p.m. for their Holistic Social Media and Wellness Day where there will be fun workshops on health, fi tness, yoga, meditation and an assortment of other topics along with exhibit tables. The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a crowdfunded community dinner they call SOUP at the Flushing Quaker Meethouse. For $5, attendees will be granted access to a potluck dinner where they will have the chance to learn about and vote on one of four projects they think will have the greatest positive impact on the greater Flushing community. The winning submission will be granted the money collected at the door. The dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and the Flushing Chamber of Commerce is located at 137-16 Northern Blvd. in Flushing. The Eleventh Street Arts is thrilled to announce its next exhibition, “RESIDENTS.” This group show presents nine emerging artists, all recent graduates of Grand Central Atelier, in a showcase of new paintings, drawings and sculpture.
