eggplant rollatini, roasted potatoes
and penne à la vodka, among the
mouth-watering selections.
Golf Pro Bob Guido hosted
the trophy ceremony, ably aided
by Assistant Pro John Morrison
and Country Club Manager Mary
Anne Langone. A highlight of the
annual event, especially for the
non-winners on the golf course,
is the raffle drawing. With more
than a dozen prizes, including
top-of-the-line golf bags and
clubs, attendees have a better
than 10% chance of being awarded.
Not that that’s one’s reason
for participating. The Men’s Golf
Association Member Guest Day is
first and foremost about camaraderie
and golf aficionados sharing
their love of the links, which may
explain why it continues to be one
of the most anticipated events of
the year.
