6 North Shore Towers Courier n June 2015 THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN H Steve Redlich H I began my career in commercial banking after obtaining an MBA degree in finance and accounting. Twelve years later, I purchased a small plastics manufacturing company. As President and CEO for the past 35 years, I have developed this enterprise into a flourishing $75 million company with 248 employees which gave me extensive experience in senior management, budgeting, union mediations, banking & vendor relationships, structuring insurance coverage and contract negotiations. As an owner of commercial real estate, I also have widespread experience working with tenants, architects, lawyers, and building contractors. I was treasurer of the Pennsylvania Association for 15 years and am currently Chairman of the Board. I meet BY STEPHEN VRATTOS with elected representatives both locally & in Washington DC to promote U.S. manufacturing. I also served as treasurer of my Temple for 8 years. As a past Board Member and Treasurer of North Shore Towers, my knowledge of our community is thorough. I was Treasurer during the 9/11 aftermath when security became a high priority, when insurance coverage became challenging, and when New York City was escalating taxes. I am currently a member of the NST finance committee and Chairman of the Budget sub-committee. H Felice Hannah H Serving on the Board of Directors for the past two years has been an honor and professionally satisfying. As a Board Member, my primary agenda has been to protect the economic interest of the residents while at the same time voting for expenditures to keep our buildings structurally sound, enhance our quality of life through building upgrades and to maintain a fiscally responsible reserve fund. Serving as Chairperson of the North Shore Towers Political Action Committee provided me with the opportunity to present monthly seminars and informational forums on legislative issues and other related civic concerns. Towards that end Debate Forums were held for Candidates from all parties running for Congress, Mayor, State Senate, Assembly, Borough President, Comptroller and Public Advocate. Each month at the Round Table Meetings residents were able to dialogue with elected representatives and express their concerns and demand action. Monthly seminars included workshops on Fire Safety, Avoiding Identity Theft, Board of Election Voting Procedures, Health Seminars and many important issues. I sincerely hope that I have earned your support and will receive your vote to continue to serve this great Community, North Shore Towers.
