She graduated from the New York School of Podiatric Medicine in New York with honors and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree. She also has a private practice in Great Neck and North Shore Towers. Dr. Kristina Karlic earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University in 2002 and her Doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2007. She completed her three year residency training at NS-LIJ Hospital where she was chief resident for the duration of her final year. Drs. Schwartz and Karlic performs surgery at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. We treat adults for diabetic foot care, sports injuries, bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, gout, plantar fasciitis, infections and neuromas.
