The film, “Ahead of Time,” documents the remarkable journey of American writer, journalist and photographer Ruth Gruber from 1911 to 1947. Gruber is still alive, having just celebrated her 101st birthday in September of 2012. Gruber was a witness to the post-World War II traumas of war refugees, the drama of the ship Exodus and the birth of the nation of Israel. Admission to the film showing and dessert is $18.
