6 North Shore Towers Courier n January 2014 NST shows appreciation for staff Bob Ricken and the Board of Directors showed appreciation for the people who keep NST running with a holiday party on Friday, December 13. The festive evening gave the workers and their guests a chance to mingle with the decision makers over music, cocktails and dinner at Leonard’s of Great Neck. Amidst the holiday cheer, the highlight of the evening was a video presentation, featuring staffers greeting all – complete with a few bloopers that brought down the house. The show included a “trading places” fantasy sequence where the bosses got chewed out for a change and residents expressing their thanks for all the hard work that gets done every day, punctuated by a running gag about a resident’s emergency… “I have a burned out light bulb!” The warm feelings of the evening should brighten the winter ahead.
