In 2008, Luca DiCiero
founded NYSpace Finders,
Inc., to give his clients more
personalized attention.
The Astoria native began
in the commercial sector,
finding space for tenants to
move from the city to western
Queens.
“Astoria is a community so
diverse we can cater to every
ethnicity,” said DiCiero. “We
facilitated moves for offices
and commercial real estate
in the gentrification of the
area,” he continued, “from
microbreweries and lofts into
live and work spaces.”
The full-service NYSpace
Finders then turned to new
constructions in Astoria and
Long Island City, selling
land and leasing new
developments, including the
Sohmer and Company Piano
Factory at 31-01 Vernon
Boulevard. DiCiero and his
team were the exclusive
leasing agents there. Today,
they represent over 90 new
construction developments.
Having achieved success
through his full-service, clientbased
approach, DiCiero then
teamed up with Giuseppe
Gregorio, an old friend of
25 years with a background
in finance and an intimate
knowledge of Long Island,
having grown up on the North
Shore.
“I created a formula in
Astoria,” said DiCiero. “We
are multi-faceted, from
commercial to residential
to consulting to business
brokering. Giuseppe came on
board and we replicated this
recipe for success on Long
Island.”
In 2017, NYSpace Finders
came to Glen Cove.
“I was studying how Luca
operated in Astoria and we
started on the Island in 2017,”
said Gregorio. “We felt Glen
Cove would be a mirror
image.”
And, like in Queens, the pair
helped to create the retail
landscape of the community.
“One of the great things
about being multi-faceted
is that we help to create a
neighborhood’s vibe,” said
DiCiero. “People want to be
in an area that is alive.”
So when COVID-19 hit, the
pair made sure to take the
pulse of the communities they
serve – and help keep them
going.
“We spent an
incredible amount of
time communicating and
strategically planning with
our clients on how they
could come out of this,” said
DiCiero. “We managed the
tenant/landlord relationships
and helped to mediate by
restructuring and rebrokering
deals. When we put a tenant
in, we are in for the long
haul. We proved that during
COVID-19.”
Gregorio echoed the
sentiment.
“We encouraged tenants
and landlords to communicate
with each other and even
encouraged businesses to
open on Long Island during
this time.”
Among these are Cricket
Wireless, iSouvlaki, and
85Quick DMV Services on
Cedar Swamp Road.
NYSpace Finders also
pivoted to virtual tours during
the pandemic and even
hosted socially-distanced
networking events in order to
continue serving its clients.

DiCiero and Gregorio? Suffolk
County, where the pair’s
“Under One Roof” full-service
approach will help anyone
looking to rent, buy or sell in
the commercial or residential
sector.
