
 
		Two men allegedly  
 posing  as  NYPD  police  
 offi cers broke into a couple’s  
 home in the Country  
 Club section of the  
 Bronx,  tied  up  the  occupants  
 and made away  
 with  their  cellphones  
 and BMW on Tuesday,  
 according to authorities. 
 The  home  invasion  
 occurred around 8 a.m.  
 on 3391 Country Club  
 Road, when the two men  
 described  as  being  in  
 their 50’s — one carrying  
 a NYPD police badge  
 and both wearing NYPD  
 apparel — entered the  
 home and tied up the  
 homeowners before taking  
 off with $30,000 in  
 cash and $100,000 in jewelry, 
  according to police. 
 One of the victims reported  
 both  assailants  
 were wearing NYPD  
 sweatshirts and sweatpants, 
   as  well  as  gray  
 bubble  vests,  an  offi cial  
 said. 
 The white BMW was  
 recovered about a mile  
 away from the home  
 at Baisley Avenue and  
 Bruckner Boulevard, according  
 to police.

 across  the  street  to  get  
 help. No arrests have  
 been made yet and it unknown  
 if the suspects  
 were  actually  police  offi  
 cers. 
 The investigation is  
 still ongoing.

 Teacher busted for  
 sexual misconduct  
 A Bronx teacher was  
 arrested  Friday,  Nov.  
 5,  for  sexual  misconduct  
 and multiple other  
 charges. 
 According to police  
 sources, Alexander Guzman  
 is a teacher at the  
 NYC  Department  of  Education’s  
 Bronx School  
 of Law, Government  
 and Justice, 244 E. 163rd  
 St. Guzman, 26, was  
 charged with forcible  
 touching and two counts  
 of  disseminating  indecent  
 material to minors,  
 aggravated  harassment  
 and harassment. 
 A detective told the  
 Bronx Times that there  
 are three complaining  
 victims and all of the alleged  
 crimes occurred  
 at the school. Guzman,  
 who teaches  math and  
 science, voluntarily surrendered  
 at his home on  
 Nov. 5. 
 According to Department  
 of  Education  
 Spokesman  Katie  
 O’Hanlon, Guzman had  
 been a teacher at Bronx  
 School  for Law, Government  
 and Justice since  
 September 2021 and was  
 fi red effective Nov. 9. 
 “These are deeply  
 disturbing  charges  
 and DOE has cooperated  
 with  the  police  department  
 fully and the  
 teacher was immediately  
 removed from the  
 school,”  O’Hanlon  said.  
 “The safety of our students  
 is our top priority  
 and we have stringent  
 protections in place to  
 address any allegations  
 of impropriety.” 
 The school, founded  
 in 1997, is for students  
 in  grades  6-12 who  seek  
 to pursue careers in law  
 and government.
