GOLF OUTING HELD
On Thursday, October 3, St. Raymond High School
for Boys held their 23rd annual ‘Alumni Association
White Plains. Nearly 100 golfers gathered for a
day of golf, dinner, drinks, auctions, raffl es and
other activities. The event raised over $48,000
for scholarships.

BREAST CANCER WALK
The Police Service Area 7’s Community cCuncil and Community
Affairs held their annual ‘PSA7 Breast Cancer Walk’
on Saturday, October 5. The route began at the Claremont
Neighborhood Center and ended at Police Service Area 7. The
event was sponsored by UnitedHealthcare and WellCare.

ST. HELENA CHURCH HOLDS
ANNUAL BLESSING OF PETS
St. Helena Church held a blessing of pets as well as a blessing
of stuffed animals on Friday, October 4. This custom is
conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for
animals and nature.
