The Bronx’s Italian American pride was on
full display at this year’s 43rd annual Bronx
Columbus Day Parade on Sunday, October
13 in Morris Park. The parade was a preface
to the offi cial Monday, October 14 holiday
recognizing Italian explorer Christopher
Columbus who is remembered for discovering
the ‘New World’ of the Americas in 1492.
